Latest Updated On 14/03/2025: 1300 elementary teachers from class 1 to 8 working in government schools of the district have not yet registered for 50 hours of continuous professional development training. DEO Abhishek Jha has taken it seriously. Earlier, the number of teachers who did not register was 2200.
Teachers of Dhanbad district should complete their training till 31st March
Jharkhand Education Project Dhanbad has said in the order issued that not registering is a violation of departmental instructions. This training has to be completed by March 31. These include all teachers of all government and government aided schools. Let us tell you that in the National Education Policy 2020, a provision of at least 50 hours of training has been made for the continuous professional development of teachers. About five thousand teachers of Dhanbad have to receive this online and offline training.

DEO appointed Block Nodal Officer: DEO Abhishek Jha has issued necessary instructions in this regard. To monitor the training in the stipulated time, Jharkhand Education Project Dhanbad has appointed the Block Program Officer / Block Resource Person as the nodal officer at the block level. Three members each from all 11 blocks i.e. BRC, BPO and MIS Coordinator have been included.
