Latest Updated On 18/07/2025: The Panchayati Raj Department has sent a requisition to the Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) after roster clearance from the General Administration Department for appointment to 8298 vacant posts of lower division clerk. With the appointment on these vacant posts, panchayat level schemes will be implemented effectively in the area. According to the department, successful implementation and proper documentation of Central Finance Commission, State Finance Commission, Chief Minister Rural Street-Drain Pavement Nishchay Yojana, Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali, Chief Minister Rural Solar Street Light Scheme, Panchayat Government Building, Community Building etc. will be ensured more effectively.
In the coming days, there will be convenience in quick execution of works at the panchayat level and the benefits of public welfare schemes will be available more easily. In the meeting of the Council of Ministers on 10 June, approval was given for the creation of 8093 lower division clerk posts of the clerical cadre.
