Latest Updated On 24/07/2025: The third phase written examination for recruitment to 19838 posts of constable in Bihar Police remained peaceful across the state. However, action was taken against 29 candidates for malpractice.
- Maximum 13 applicants expelled from the exam in Bhagalpur
The Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment) said that the examination remained peaceful at 627 examination centers set up in all 38 district headquarters of the state. Admit cards were issued to more than 2.79 lakh candidates. About 80 percent of these candidates were present. During the examination, 29 candidates were expelled on charges of malpractice.

One FIR each was registered in West Champaran, Katihar, Samastipur and Saharsa, in which eight people were accused of malpractice. Four of these candidates were arrested. 13 applicants were expelled from the examination in Bhagalpur district. The next fourth phase of constable recruitment examination will be held on 27 July.
