Latest Updated On 20/07/2025: Patliputra University has released the revised date for admission in undergraduate (self-finance) vocational courses. 


Last chance to apply is 21st July


The process of online application for the academic session 2025-28 in constituent, government and affiliated colleges under the university has started from 13 June. Now candidates will be able to apply till 21 July 2025. The last chance to correct the form will be on 22 July.

The first merit list will be published on 24 July, while admission can be done on this list till 27 July. Colleges will have to confirm the validity of enrollment till 28 July. The second merit list will be released on 30 July and the admission will be taken on it till 3 August. Colleges will have to verify the validity till 4 August. The new session will start and online registration for students will start from 5 August. There are ten thousand seats in vocational courses in the university. While only 4800 applications have been received. Dean Prof. Rajiv Ranjan said that the students were given a chance to apply till 21 July.


Application fee: Application fee for General, BC-1 & BC-2 category students is 1100 Rupees and for SC-ST it is 750 Rupees.


Eligibility: BCA, BSc IT, ICom, IA, Diploma or ITI pass students who have Maths as a compulsory subject in 12th and minimum 45% marks.


BBA, BASPM, Vocational or Diploma course pass students who have 45% marks out of 100 in Hindi and English exam.


BEVM- 45% marks with Maths or Biology subject in 12th.


For admission in Biotech, Bioinfo, Biochem, Microbio, Biology is compulsory and minimum 45% marks should be there in 12th.
