Latest Updated On 26/08/2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct an academic audit of students of classes VI and IX in all affiliated schools. This audit will be conducted in November-December under the board's 'Saphal' assessment initiative. Its main objective is to find out how much the students of classes V and VIII have learned in their studies and how strong their academic foundation is.

This audit will reveal the real educational status of the students. This assessment will focus especially on competency-based questions and understanding of the children. Not only this, the level of teaching of teachers will also be revealed on the basis of the performance of the children. The audit report will be released in April 2026. This program will also be held in all affiliated schools across the country including Bihar. Schools have already started preparations for this. Various activities are being organized for this in schools.
Preparations for this audit have begun in schools. The school administration is preparing teachers and students for this. Based on the audit report, the board will prepare a strategy to improve the teaching-learning process in the future. The weaknesses of the students can be identified from the report and work will be done to remove them. This will improve the quality of overall education.
