Live Updates in hindi: partial relaxation in the immense compulsion for cbse 10th 12th board exams 2025
Latest Updated On 10/09/2025: CBSE has provided partial relaxation in the requirement of linking Apaar (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) ID in the process of filling the List of Candidates (LOC) for the Class X & XII board exams for the academic session 2025-26. This decision of the board will provide relief to lakhs of students from being deprived of the examination.
- Schools and associations affiliated to the board were continuously demanding exemption
- Apaar ID is not being created due to the lack of consent from the parents
The board has said that if the Apaar ID of a student is not being generated due to lack of consent of the parents, then the concerned school will have to keep a copy of the written disagreement of the parents safe in its records. In such cases, the word 'denial' has to be entered in place of Apaar in the LOC. If Apaar ID is not being generated due to the any other reason, then 'nogen' has to be marked in LOC.

The board released a letter
CBSE Board has released a letter saying that Apaar is the part of 'One Nation, One Student ID' initiative. Which ensures transparency, accountability and academic mobility. However, the schools apprised of challenges such as difficulty in integration of various portals, difference in students' data in school and Aadhaar records, time taken in the correction process and lack of consent of parents. Keeping this in mind, schools have been given partial exemption.
Let us tell you that Bihar Public School and Children Welfare Association led by Chairman DK Singh had also continuously mailed CBSE raising this demand. Now after giving exemption to the schools, Association Chairman DK Singh and Secretary Prem Ranjan thanked CBSE and Union Education Minister.
Apaar made for 1.22 crore children
Apaar made for children enrolled in these categories of schools
●State government schools: 1,09,76,362 children
●Central government schools: 2270 children
●Government aided schools: 57962 children
●Private and other schools: 1175191 children
Apaar card has been made for about 1.22 crore children studying in various schools of the state. Now these children will not have to fear losing their educational documents and certificates. Children will be able to retrieve all their records with the unique number received under Apaar. All the educational records and certificates of these children will be digitally recorded at one place on the Apaar card. Also, in future, children will not have to carry all the documents for any interview, form filling etc. All the records can be retrieved in one click by entering the Apaar number.
