Latest Updated On 06/10/2025: There will be recruitment on contract basis for 189 posts of Assistant Director (Gazetted) and Senior Scientific Assistant (Non-Gazetted) in the Forensic Science Laboratories of Bihar Police.

For this, an advertisement has been issued from the level of DIG cum Chairman Planning Board of Crime Investigation Department. According to the information received, the process of recruitment for 89 vacant posts of Assistant Director and 100 vacant posts of Senior Scientific Assistant in Forensic Science Laboratories is going to start.

Online applications for these posts will be accepted from 6 October i.e.; from today. The last date for application has been kept as 31 October. The minimum age limit for selection on these posts will be 21 years while the maximum age limit will be 65 years. The educational qualification for these different posts has also been kept different.
