Latest Updated On 19/10/2025: Patliputra University released the results of the PhD Admission Test (PAT) late Saturday night, a day before the Diwali and Chhath Puja holidays.
The exam was conducted for 805 seats in 25 subjects. However, the number of seats was later increased. Candidates can check their results on the university website. The exam was held on 22nd April. The results were delayed due to the change of several Vice Chancellors.

In many subjects, the number of candidates was less than the number of seats. In many subjects, there was a lot of competition due to the number of candidates being many times more than the seats. Now the admission process will take place after the university reopens. Due to elections, the further process will take place in December.
