Latest Updated On 25/01/2026: BBMKU Dhanbad has released the examination schedule for PG Semester Three (2024-26 session) and the old session. The exams will be held from 3 February to 28 February.
In Dhanbad, the examination centers for the PG Department of BBMKU, SSLNT College, and RSP College Jharia Belgadia will be the University Academic Block, while Chas College in Bokaro will serve as the examination center for BS City College. The exams will begin on February 3 with the 10th paper. The 12th paper exam will be held on 13 February. The 9th paper exam will be conducted on 27 and 28 February. Practical examinations will be held between 13 and 17 February. Sources indicate that a significant number of students had incorrectly filled in the name of their Open Elective paper. The university's examination department has rectified this error. During the correction process, students were assigned new papers.

To allow students sufficient time to study and prepare for the new papers, the 9th paper exam is being held at the end of the schedule. In the released examination schedule, the University Examination Controller, Dr. Dhananjay Kumar Singh, clarified this matter, stating that an extended interval has been provided for the preparation of the 9th Open Elective paper. Students should utilize this time effectively. Classes for PG Semester Four will commence immediately after the completion of the Semester Three examinations.
