Latest Updated On 25/02/2025: New Block Development Officers (BDOs) have been posted in 46 blocks of the state. The Rural Development Department has transferred 123 officers of various levels including BDOs and Rural Development Officers.

The department has also issued an order for this on Monday. These officers will get their March salary from the new place only. The order issued also states that the officers who have not been posted will immediately join the department. The department has posted 30 officers on the post of Rural Development Officer (Level-7) in various blocks. At the same time, 37 officers have been posted as Project Officers. Apart from this, 3 Executive Magistrates and four District Rural Development Agencies have been created. At the same time, the services of three Rural Development Service officers have been handed over to Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (Bipard).
