Latest Updated On 08/02/2025: Medical entrance exam NEET-UG will be held on 4 May. The National Examination Agency (NTA) gave this information on Friday. The application process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) started on Friday, which will end on 7 March.

More than 24 lakh candidates appeared for the exam in the year 2024. NTA conducts NEET every year for admission to medical colleges. There are 1,08,000 seats for MBBS course. Of these, 56,000 seats are in government hospitals and 52,000 seats are in private colleges.
