Health Minister Mangal Pandey made this announcement in the assembly on Thursday. He was presenting the government's side during the discussion on the budget of the health department. The minister said that advertisements have been published for 18903 of these posts. At the same time, the process of sending requisitions for 1093 posts is being done.

100 bed pediatric hospital will be constructed in Patna



The minister said that the government will establish new medical colleges in seven districts Araria, Aurangabad, Banka, Jehanabad, Kaimur, Khagaria and Nawada. After this, there will be 34 medical colleges in the state. Construction work of medical colleges has been completed in five districts Purnia, Bettiah, Madhepura, Samastipur and Saran. Construction work is going on in ten districts Sitamarhi, Jhanjharpur (Madhubani), Siwan, Buxar, Jamui, Begusarai, Mahua (Vaishali), Munger, Bhojpur (Ara) and Supaul. Apart from this, construction work of medical colleges will start soon in Motihari, Gopalganj and Saharsa. Also, under the announcements made during the Pragati Yatra of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, administrative approval has been given to open new medical colleges in seven districts. Work will start here in the next financial year. After the construction of 22 new medical colleges in the coming years, the number of MBBS seats will increase to 5220 and the number of beds will increase to 28884.

Sadar of Patna, Nawada, Jehanabad, Saran Gopalganj, Muzaffarpur, Rohtas, Madhepura, Begusarai and Samastipur will be developed as model hospitals. The work will be completed by the next financial year.


Cancer hospital will be built in Begusarai and Nawada


A 100-bed pediatric hospital will be built in Patna. Cancer hospital will be built in Begusarai and Nawada. In Nawada, this hospital will be built in Khanwan, the village of former Chief Minister Shri Krishna Singh. There is a plan to establish and operate government medical colleges on the basis of PPP model. A new policy will be made for this.
