Latest Updated On 23/03/2025: Under the Right to Education Act, many children were not enrolled in the first phase, but the date for registration for the admission in the second phase has been declared.
Due to the arbitrariness of private schools, children were not enrolled in the first phase even after the school allocation by the department. Despite this, the registration process for the second phase of admission will start from March 25 without review. In such a situation, the children who could not be enrolled due to the school, will be allotted schools on the basis of the applications received in the second phase on those vacant seats. In such a situation, these children will not be able to get enrolled. The parents of the children who were not enrolled even after the school allocation in the first phase are running from school to school and sometimes to the district education office. Parents said that on applying, they were told that the list will be released. Correspondence was made to the school on the applications of some, but the child was not enrolled.

Important dates for admission in the second round
● Student registration: 25 March to 10 April 2025
● Verification of registered students: 26 March to 12 April
● Online school allocation of verified students: 15 April till 330 pm
● Verification and admission of selected students: 16 to 25 April
Ishika Sharma has been allotted the school located at Nehru Path in the first round itself. The school has not taken enrollment. The parent said that when he contacted the district office, he was told that the list will be released.
Aayushi from Patna was also not enrolled after being allotted a school. Correspondence was also made to the school to enroll her in light of her application from the DEO office. Despite this, her enrollment could not be done.
