27370 new posts will be filled in the various departments of bihar
Latest Updated On 09/04/2025: There will be appointments on 27370 new posts in various departments of the state government. Out of these, the maximum 20,016 posts will be appointed in the health department. The posts will include 3306 posts of assistant Urdu translators, 2590 posts of clerical cadre in agriculture department, 1339 posts of education assistant officer and assistant education development officer, including posts in education and other departments.

Cabinet approved 27 proposals
It was approved in the state cabinet meeting held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of CM Nitish Kumar. The cabinet has approved a total of 27 proposals. ACS of the Cabinet Secretariat Dr. S Siddharth said that the services of the health department have been divided into two cadres. One is public health and the other is health services sector. Public health sector has been created as a new cadre. There will also be three directorates under these services. Public health, health services and medical education directorate. It has been decided to make the treatment and management of patients in hospitals excellent.
New excise chemistry laboratories will be opened in six districts
Under the Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department, new excise chemistry laboratories will be opened in six districts Rohtas, Aurangabad, West Champaran, Begusarai, Kishanganj and Gopalganj. The cabinet has approved the creation of 48 posts for these offices. Approval has been given for the creation of 36 posts for the operation of 50-bed Integrated Ayush Hospital, Nawab Manzil, Patna. Approval has been given for the creation of 35 posts including 29 of Data Entry Operator in Bihar Staff Selection Commission.
One Assistant Education Development Officer will be posted in every ten panchayats
For strict monitoring of schools and increasing the quality of education, the formation of Bihar Education Administration Cadre Rules 2025 has been approved. One Assistant Education Development Officer will be posted in every ten panchayats. All these will be new posts, on which regular appointment will be made. Posts of Education Development Officer will be created in all 534 blocks. The posts will be filled by promotion. They will effectively monitor the schools. Dr. S Siddharth said that the schools were being inspected by contract workers. The quality of its inspection work was very poor.
Salary and allowances of people with the status of Minister of State and Deputy Minister increased
The state government has increased the salary and allowances of people serving on the posts with the status of Minister of State and Deputy Minister. Now the Ministers of State and Deputy Ministers will get 65 thousand salary instead of 50 thousand. Regional allowance has increased from 55 thousand to 70 thousand and daily allowance from 3000 to 3500 rupees. The hospitality allowance of the Ministers of State has been increased from 24 thousand to 29,500 and that of Deputy Ministers from Rs 23,500 to 29,000. The travel allowance for discharging government work has been increased from Rs 15 per kilometer to Rs 25 per kilometer. The salary and allowances for the Chief Minister and the Minister were already revised with effect from 24 March 2023. At the same time, the salary of Minister of State and Deputy Minister was not revised since the year 2022 and the allowance was not revised since the year 2019.
