Live Updates in hindi: 48 students of iit ism dhanbad get package up to 60 lakhs
Latest Updated On 23/04/2025: The students of the year 2025 batch of IIT ISM Dhanbad are in luck. Renowned companies of the country and abroad have offered jobs on better pay packages. 1656 students of various courses registered for campus placement. Out of these, 1025 got job offers. 985 students accepted the job offer.
- 150 students will get a pay package of 20 to 30 lakhs and 58 students will get a pay package of 30 to 40 lakhs
It is important that 48 students of the institute have got an annual pay package of Rs 50 to 60 lakh. 27 students have got 40 to 50 lakh rupees, the number of students who got 30 to 40 lakh annual package is 58. The average pay package has been received by 17.69 students. This has been disclosed by the Career Development Center of IIT Dhanbad in a report released on the basis of campus placements done so far.

291 students got the lowest package of 6 to 10 lakhs: 291 students got the lowest package of 6 to 10 lakhs per annum. Out of 985 students who got placement, 211 were girls and 774 were boys. Total campus placement was 60.73%. Most of the students got jobs in core engineering sector, 330 and 320 in IT sector.
Package of 21 students not disclosed: The package of 21 students who got highest pay package has not been disclosed. These include 12 students of B.Tech, 4 of M.Tech and 4 of M.Sc.Tech. However, Mineral and Metallurgy Engineering student Saurav Shakti got a pay package of Rs. 1.22 crore per annum. It is being said to be the highest package of the institute till date. Course wise average salary of B.Tech is 19.68 lakh, B.Tech Dual Degree is 29.82 lakh and M.Tech Integrated is 29.68 lakh. Whereas the lowest salary offered to MSc students is 7.41 lakh rupees per annum.
