At present, their appointment process is going on from Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC). In view of the continuous delay in this, the state government is planning to give this right to the universities. For this, a universal act is being prepared for the state universities of Jharkhand. Higher & Technical Education Minister Sudivya Kumar reviewed it with departmental officials on Tuesday. The final decision will be taken on this after the consent of Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

Universities in Jharkhand will have their own universal act. Currently, three acts are working for the universities of Jharkhand. Jharkhand State University (JSU) Act, Raksha Shakti University Act & JUT Act are working. The government is preparing a proposal to bring a universal act for all the state universities of the state. Gujarat & Maharashtra also have a universal act. Also, brainstorming is being done on what amendments are being made in the New Education Policy.
