While the syllabus from class 1 to 4 will be changed in the new academic session of 2026, the syllabus from class 5 to 8 will be changed in 2027. The School Education & Literacy Department has started its preparation. It is being changed under the leadership of Jharkhand Educational Research and Training Council. For this, the curriculum will be prepared with the help of subject experts and teachers.

For the second time after the formation of Jharkhand, the syllabus of class 1 to 4 is being changed. These changes are being made under the National Education Policy. In this, from basic literacy to the art of learning will be included in the syllabus. The re-designed Learning Out Come will be implemented. Along with the socio-cultural environment of Jharkhand, its great men and agitators will be included. Distribution of books on the lines of Bengal


Textbooks will be distributed in the Jharkhand on the lines of West Bengal (Kolkata). This system will be implemented in Jharkhand from the next academic session April 2026.


In this, books will be distributed simultaneously across the state within a fortnight in the month of April. Books will be distributed in schools across the state between April 1 and April 15 from the new academic session of 2026.
