Latest Updated On 19/06/2025: The 2nd merit list for the admission in the graduation (regular & vocational) courses of the various subjects of Patna University (PU) will be released on Thursday. After the admission of students selected in the 1st merit list, this 2nd list will be released for admission to vacant seats in various subjects, which students will be able to see on the university website. 2049 students were admitted in the 1st list.
Students enrolled in the 1st merit list who have chosen the slideup option & if their name is slideup in the 2nd merit list and they are satisfied with it, then they will close the option & download the allotment letter. They will not need to go to the counseling again. Candidates whose name is in the 2nd merit list will be able to see the allotment letter with the help of their login ID & password.

The admission process will be held between 21st & 24th June
After choosing the option, there will be a possibility of upgrading the seats in the third merit list if they are available. The counselling and admission process of those selected in the second merit list will be held between 21st and 24th June 2025. The 3rd merit list for the admission in Patna University will be released on 27th June, the counselling & the admission process of which will be completed between 30th June 2025 and 1st July.
