Latest Updated On 06/07/2025: Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has sought a report from all districts on the Plus Two schools and Inter Colleges located within a radius of five kilometers of the affiliated colleges. Districts have to provide information on government and upgraded Plus Two schools, establishment permission granted and approved Inter Colleges. Districts have to report on how many Plus Two schools and Inter Colleges are within five kilometers of the affiliated colleges, their names, the distance of each Plus Two school and Inter College from the affiliated college and how many teachers of which subject are working in the school-college.

District education officials have been instructed to submit the report without delay, so that the schools and colleges near the affiliated colleges can be identified and assessed. After this, the districts will shift the students of 12th standard of affiliated colleges to the respective Plus Two schools and Inter Colleges. It has been asked to ensure 100% enrollment of all the students who passed and failed in the 11th examination. Hindustan had recently published prominently the news of disruption in the 12th standard studies of about 27 thousand students of affiliated colleges. The Education Minister has also directed to depute teachers in Plus Two schools if there is a shortage of teachers. So that the result of class 12th is not affected.
