Latest Updated On 14/08/2025: Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) on Wednesday released the result of Jharkhand Primary School Intermediate Trained Assistant Acharya (1st to 5th) 2023. In this, 4817 para teachers and non-para teachers have been successful as Assistant Acharya, while 6183 posts i.e. 56 percent posts have remained vacant. Earlier, the commission had released the result of the Graduate Trained Assistant Acharya examination conducted for 15,001 posts. In this, 5775 were successful, while 9226 posts remained vacant.


A total of 11 thousand posts of Intermediate Trained Assistant Acharya were to be reinstated by Intermediate Trained Assistant Acharyas. In this, 5469 were reserved category for the para teachers & 5531 in non-para category. Out of these, a total of 7151 candidates had qualified, whose certificates were examined. In the result released by the commission, 4817 candidates passed, in which 3009 non-para teacher category and 1808 para teacher category candidates have been successful. The Commission has clarified that this result will be affected by the final order passed by the Jharkhand High Court in Bahadur Mahto and others vs. School Education and Literacy Department, Jharkhand and others and Damrudhar Sahu and others vs. State of Jharkhand.

The result can be amended after the order. During this period, change in the allotted category and district of the successful candidates is possible. Also, the result of some candidates has been kept pending due to non-availability of mandatory certificates, records, ambiguity, non-matching of biometrics. In this regard, amendment in the result is possible on the basis of departmental guidance and certificates provided by the concerned candidates.


The hearing on the appointment case will be held in the Supreme Court today


The hearing on the Assistant Professor appointment case is on 14th August in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court had ordered the JSSC to compulsorily release the results by this date. If this is not the completed, the Chief Secretary (CS), Education Secretary & Secretary of the JSSC had to appear in person in the Supreme Court. The state govt & the JSSC will report on the release of the results of the Assistant Professor recruitment process in the Supreme Court on the Thursday.
