Latest Updated On 26/08/2025: There is good news for IIT ISMK employees waiting for promotion. The management has announced promotion through Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE). Candidates fulfilling the eligibility will get promotion to more than 50 posts in various departments. IIT has released the minimum qualification for the respective posts. Minimum Hotel Management and other degrees are required for Superintendent (Hospitality). In this, Step One will have a written examination of 100 marks and Step Two will have a trade test of 100 marks.

A written examination of 100 marks will be taken to give promotion to many posts. These include a written examination of 80 marks and a computer proficiency test of 20 marks. Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination and computer proficiency test. Candidates will have to calculate their eligibility as per the cut-off date of 1 January 2026. IIT Dhanbad has released detailed information regarding promotion.
