Latest Updated On 25/08/2025: The revised result of the Assistant Acharya Appointment Examination will be released. Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission will publish the revised result. There is also a possibility of many selected candidates being eliminated and new candidates being added to the merit list. The School Education and Literacy Department has returned the recommendation of 1683 candidates of Science-Mathematics and 1059 candidates of Language to JSSC for the post of Assistant Acharya from class VI to VIII. Now JSSC will publish the revised result in the next two-three days as per the guidance given by the Education Department.
The Education Department will then also return the recommendation of 3033 posts of Social Science subject from class VI to VIII. After this, JSSC will release the revised result of 4815 posts of Intermediate Trained Assistant Acharya along with Social Science from class VI to VIII. Secretary of School Education and Literacy Department Umashankar Singh said that the recommendation has been returned to JSSC to rectify the error.

Some candidates who had got the benefit of reservation in the Teacher Eligibility Test have again got the benefit of it in the Assistant Acharya Examination. Such people will be identified by JSSC.
In such a situation, there is a possibility that the result of some candidates will be affected by this and some new candidates may join. Some may go from unreserved category to reserved category & some from reserved category to unreserved category. It is possible that there may be no amendment in the result that has been released. This will be clear after the review of JSSC and the revised result.
Amendment will be done as per the order of the Supreme Court
The result of the Assistant Acharya (Assistant Professor) recruitment exam will be amended as per the order of Supreme Court. The order of the Supreme Court was that a candidate will get the benefit of reservation only once in one appointment process. In such a situation, in the currently released result, there are many TET pass candidates who have also got the benefit of reservation in the Teacher Eligibility Test and they have also been given a place in the unreserved category in the released result of Assistant Acharya. In such a situation, the result of these candidates will be amended. The Education Department has given guidance to JSSC in this regard.
Only new candidates will be counselled
The Jharkhand government is also preparing to issue appointment letters to Assistant Professors of Science-Mathematics and Language subjects from sixth to eighth standard before September 5. After the revised results are released in the next two-three days, district-wise counselling of the new candidates whose results have been released will be done. At the same time, the candidates who have already been counselled in the previously released results will not need counselling again when their results are released. Action will be taken to give them appointment letters directly and post them in schools.
