Latest Updated On 30/09/2025: Bar Council of India (BCI) on Monday opened the registration process for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE-20). Candidates can apply by visiting the website allindiabarexamination.com. The application deadline is 28 October. The payment deadline is 31 October.
Admit cards will be released on 15 November. The exam will be held on 30 November. This exam is conducted to assess the eligibility of candidates who have obtained a law degree to practice law in India. Candidates interested in AIBE-20 must meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. The exam is held in an open-book format at 140 centers in 50 cities across the country.

The exam duration is three hours and 30 minutes and consists of objective questions. Candidates must pass the AIBE within 2 years of their provisional enrollment with the Bar Council. The application fee is ₹3,560 for general and OBC candidates. SC and ST candidates will have to pay ₹2,560.
