Latest Updated On 19/09/2025: The Bihar School Examination Board has issued a notification regarding applications for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025. The application process for STET 2025 will begin on Friday. The deadline is 27th September. Candidates can apply online by visiting the board's website, bsebstet.org.
Candidates who pass the exam will receive a lifetime valid certificate, which will give them a direct entry into the upcoming BPSC teacher recruitment exam. The application fee for one paper is 960 Rupees for General/BC/EWS candidates, while SC/ST/PH candidates will have to pay 760 Rupees. The application fee for both papers is 1440 Rupees for General/BC/EWS candidates, while SC/ST/PH candidates have to pay 1140 Rupees. It should be noted that applications were originally scheduled to be accepted from September 11th to 19th, but were postponed due to technical reasons. Candidates must have completed their graduation to apply. A B.Ed. degree in a relevant subject is also required.

Candidates should be between 21 and 37 years of age for men, while the maximum age for women is 40 years.

A total of 150 questions will be asked in the exam. Of these, 100 questions will be subject-based, while the remaining 50 will be related to teaching skills and other competencies. The total duration of the exam will be two and a half hours. The exam will be conducted in two parts: Paper 1 for secondary classes and Paper 2 for higher secondary classes.
