Latest Updated On 18/09/2025: The deadline for applying for the PhD admission process at AKTU has been extended. Candidates can now apply through the university's ERP by visiting the home page of the AKTU website until 19 September.
- Applications invited for specialization in 20 areas
Under this scheme, candidates who have passed GATE, NET, GMAT, CAT, CMAT, GPAT, PGETA, or any other national-level examination within the last five years will be eligible for direct admission through an interview. However, they will not be eligible for the AKTU Fellowship. AICTE and UGC have already issued instructions in this regard. Vice-Chancellor Prof. JP Pandey stated that applications have been invited for 20 areas of specialization.

2,000 Rupees for general and OBC candidates, and 1,000 Rupees for SC, ST, women, and PWD candidates.
25 AKTU Fellowship seats
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pandey stated that there are 25 AKTU Fellowship seats for PhD. While seats for non-fellowship programs have not been finalized, they say applications will be accepted until September 19th. Admit cards are then scheduled for September 22nd. 45 meritorious ITI students honored
The Vishwakarma Jayanti convocation was held on Wednesday at Bhawani Private ITI, located in Paltan Cantonment, Aliganj. Retired engineer Jagmohan Jaiswal honored 45 meritorious students with the Kaushal Pratibha Award. Teachers were also honored at the ceremony. Among the honored students, Ayush Kashyap topped the institute with 91.93%. Vivek Yadav secured second place with 90.33%, and Ankit Kumar secured third place with 89.66%. College Managing Director HN Jaiswal, Principal Ashish Srivastava, and teachers were present on the occasion.
