Latest Updated On 12/09/2025: Patna High Court has sought a reply from the state government in the case of appointment of allegedly ineligible candidates under Computer Science subject in Bihar Teacher Recruitment Examination. The court has ordered the Education Department to clarify the situation by filing a counter affidavit in 3 weeks. A single bench of Justice Harish Kumar heard the matter on Thursday.
The court was told that only TET-STET pass candidates are eligible for appointment till the date fixed under Advertisement No. 26/2023. But a large number of ineligible candidates were included in the appointment and given temporary appointment letters. It is alleged that due to departmental collusion, the revised merit list has not been released till now and appointment letters were given to others instead of eligible candidates.
