Latest Updated On 25/09/2025: CBSE has released the tentative dates for the 2026 Class 10th and 12th board exams. For the 2025-26 session, Class 10th and 12th board exams will begin on 17th February.
- Class 10 exams will be held until 9th March.
- Class 12 exams will run until 9th April.
Class 10th exams will run until 9th March, and Class 12th exams until 9th April. The board has released the exam schedule on the official website, www.cbse.nic.in. This year, there will be two board exams for Class 10th. The first will be the main exam, followed by the second. The board has stated that the exams will be conducted in four phases between February 17th and July 15th.

The first will be the main exam for Class 10th and 12th students. The second exam will be conducted for Class 12th students who were unable to appear for the main exam due to their involvement in sports activities. The third phase will be the second Class 10th board exam. The fourth phase will be supplementary exams for both classes, which will be held until 15 July. The board has stated that 4.5 million students will participate this time. The board clarified that this is a tentative date.
