Latest Updated On 18/09/2025: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced that smart phones will be distributed to Anganwadi workers, along with an increase in their honorarium. As part of this campaign, extensive health camps were also launched in 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh, focusing on the health of women and children.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the "Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan" and the eighth National Nutrition Month via video conferencing from Dhar on Wednesday. On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi inaugurated state-level programs at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Scientific Convention Center, KGMU, and announced the honorarium increase. At the event, the Chief Minister performed the first Annaprashan ceremony (first feeding ceremony) of children with a tilak (a sacred thread) and distributed nutrition supplements to pregnant women, along with a baby shower. Announcing the distribution of smart phones and an honorarium increase for Anganwadi workers, Yogi said that the services of Anganwadi workers will be recognized by increasing their honorarium and providing them with smart phones.
