Latest Updated On 07/12/2025: The 14th Inter-IIT Technology Meet (Inter IIT Tech Meet) will be held at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna from 11th to 14th December. This prestigious event is being held in Bihar for the first time, according to IIT Patna Director Prof. TN Singh.

The Director stated that the Tech Meet, scheduled to be held from December 11th, will be inaugurated by Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan as the chief guest. The conference is considered one of the most prestigious annual technical events in the IIT system, bringing together innovative students, researchers, and young technology experts from 23 IITs across the country. This forum is known for encouraging collaboration, problem-solving, and innovative technological thinking.

Over 2,000 students will participate in the conference, with over 1,700 participants on the IIT Patna campus for various live presentations, demonstrations, and competitions. This year, the theme of the conference is "Resonating Cascades," which explores how ideas and innovations propagate, impact, and evolve through technological networks.



Students will present research on a variety of technical topics


Students from a variety of interdisciplinary fields, including computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, and aerospace engineering, will present their projects and solutions on advanced technological topics. During the four-day event, teams will work on problem statements provided by government institutions, research organizations, and industrial partners.


These problem statements will relate to artificial intelligence, space systems, sustainable development, smart mobility, advanced materials, cybersecurity, robotics, health engineering, and several other emerging technological areas.


Dr. Arvind Kumar Jha (President, Gymkhana and Overall Coordinator), Dr. Arpit Jain (PIC Tech), Shivank Goyal, and Vinayak Goyal (Convener, Inter IIT Tech Meet), and other organizing committee members were also present.
