Latest Updated On 13/01/2025: A total of 1445 junior doctors will be deployed for a period of one year in various medical colleges and hospitals across the state. The Health Department has asked the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) to provide the category-wise list of selected candidates as soon as possible.

The department's order states that a panel of junior residents needs to be prepared for appointment to the one-year tenure positions. This year, a 10-year age relaxation has been provided for disabled candidates applying for the junior resident positions. They will receive a monthly stipend of 65,000 Rupees. An MBBS degree from a medical college recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) is mandatory for appointment to this post.
