Latest Updated On 31/01/2025: Preparations are underway for the posting of 490 doctors who have completed their postgraduate studies in various disciplines from the state's medical colleges. These doctors will be deployed to various hospitals across the state for two years as part of their mandatory service.

All these doctors belong to the 2022-25 batch and have passed their examinations in 2025. They will serve as specialist doctors in district hospitals and other healthcare facilities. According to the list released by the Health Department on Friday, the doctors include 17 in Anatomy, 26 in Anesthesia, 13 in Biochemistry, 10 in Community Medicine, 11 in Dermatology, four in Forensic Medicine, 59 in General Medicine, 12 in Microbiology, 64 in Obstetrics and Gynecology, 43 in Pediatrics, 22 in Pathology, 21 in Pharmacology, four in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR), 26 in Physiology, seven in Psychiatry, 12 in Radio Diagnosis, five in Respiratory Medicine, 61 in Surgery, 28 in Ophthalmology, 29 in Orthopedics, and 16 in ENT.
