Bihar Ayush Doctor Vacancy 2025: 2800 posts will be recruited soon
Latest Updated On 21/04/2025: 2800 AYUSH doctors will be reinstated in Bihar soon. Under the National Health Mission (NHM), advertisements will be published within a week for their reinstatement and the vacant posts will be filled.
Health Minister Mangal Pandey announced this in the Hahnemann Jayanti cum Scientific Seminar organized under the aegis of AYUSH Medical Association, Bihar in the Convention Bhawan Auditorium on Sunday. He said that about 60 crore rupees will be received from the central government for the purchase of AYUSH medicines. Earlier, BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal and Health Minister Mangal Pandey inaugurated the seminar. On the occasion, Jaiswal said that AYUSH doctors are serving in government hospitals with full devotion.

Today, homeopathy method is also providing effective medical treatment like allopathy. The Health Minister said that the state government is taking prompt action for the rightful rights and respect of AYUSH doctors. The presidents of Ayush Medical Association were Dr. Virendra Maurya, Dr. Ramji Singh, Dr. M.K. Sahni, Dr. R.P. Singh, Dr. Gauri Shankar, Dr. Subhash Singh, Dr. Nishant Srivastava and other doctors.
Separate funds, schemes, hospitals and other arrangements have brought about a change in it for its development. Ayush medicine was given a new direction under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Ayurveda, homeopathy and Unani systems of medicine have developed rapidly.
948 homeopathic doctors have been appointed in the state.
The Health Minister said that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, an amount of 825 crores was approved by the cabinet in one day for various development related schemes. Various Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Unani colleges operating in Bihar were renovated with this amount. A new Ayurveda college is being constructed in Begusarai with an amount of 250 crores. Muzaffarpur Homeopathy College has also been renovated. 2901 AYUSH doctors have been appointed simultaneously in Bihar. This includes 948 homeopathic doctors.
