The special branch of the Home Department has directed to make arrangements at the district level for the recruitment of Home Guard. In light of this, a committee has been formed under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate. 69 thousand 14 applications have been made for 1479 posts of Home Guard in Patna district. Physical examination for recruitment is to be conducted in May. Apart from Patna, 57 thousand 860 candidates have applied in Gaya, 38 thousand 678 in Bhojpur, 38 thousand 649 in Nalanda, 36 thousand 333 in Rohtas, 35 thousand 732 in Siwan.
The lowest number of applications is 2899 in Shivhar, 5229 in Kishanganj, 9270 in Sheikhpura. Officials say that the venue for the physical examination has to be selected where they will have to go through running, high jump etc. All the procedures will be completed within a week, so that the candidates who have applied can be physically tested.
Candidates will run with a chip in their feet: This time the recruitment of Home Guards is being done on a large scale and new techniques will be used to make the physical examination even more accurate. During the fitness test, a special chip will be put in the feet of the candidates while running.
