Latest Updated On 22/04/2025: In Patna University, admission in BA, BSc and BCom graduation courses will be done on the basis of marks. The university has once again decided to take admission on the basis of marks. Its notification will be issued on Tuesday. The Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Ajay Kumar Singh, after holding a meeting with the officials related to admission, has decided to take admission on the basis of marks only.

Once the sequence was broken during the Corona period, admission was stopped on the basis of entrance examination. In 2012, the university administration, former Vice Chancellor Prof. Shambhunath Singh started the process of admission on the basis of entrance examination. The student union had also demanded enrollment on the basis of entrance examination.
