Centralized admission process gets green signal, transparency will be seen in the admission process
Latest Updated On 22/04/2025: This time, admission in graduation courses in Patliputra University will be done on the pattern of Central University. In the first phase, the university will take admission on the basis of merit list for four rounds. After this, admission will be taken under different quotas like sports, arts, teachers/employees and donors. Two percent seats have been reserved in these three quotas. For the first time, admission will be done through sports quota. Application has to be made in advance for admission in the quota. Later, the portal will not be opened for taking admission under the quota. In sports and arts, first priority will be given to national level students. After this, priority will be given to players of the state & district.

University's DSW Prof. Rajiv Ranjan said that even after four rounds and quota enrollment, if the seats in the colleges are not filled, then admission will be taken under the mop-up round. For this, students will not have to apply again. Only those students who have already applied will be given the option to choose the college in a new way. For this, the university will open the portal for a fixed period. Students will see the seats and subjects of the colleges on the portal. So that students can choose college and subject as per their choice. Enrollment will be taken till the seats are filled.

Application will start from 25th July
This session, admission will be taken in PPU under the three and four year choice based credit system for graduation. The entire admission process will be done in a centralized manner. Application will start from 25th July. Vice Chancellor Prof. Sharad Yadav said that this time admission in the new session will be done with complete transparency. The session will start from 4th July.
