Latest Updated On 03/06/2025: The result of JEE Advanced 2025 was declared by the IIT Kanpur on 2 June . Regarding this, Rajit which is of IIT Delhi zone has topped by securing 332 marks out of 360. Simultaneously, Devdatta Majhi which is of the IIT Kharagpur zone has been topper in the women's category. The all India rank is 16th. Gyan Prakash from Bihar was the topper under the Guwahati zone. 1876 candidates of Bihar have got success.


9347 students from Bihar had registered and 9128 appeared in the examination. The overall result of the state has been better than last year. At the same time, the result of the state was not good in terms of toppers. However, Arnav Kumar, a resident of Samastipur, has secured 25th rank. He appeared in the exam from the Delhi zone. Arnav studied from the DPS Kota & DPS Bhopal.


This time performance of the Guwahati zone was not good. No student is included in the top 100, while in 2024 two students were included in the top 100. • 2743 have been successful in Guwahati. Last time 2458 were successful. 1,87,23 students had registered for the Advanced exam. 1,80,422 candidates appeared in the exam, out of which 54378 candidates were successful. This includes 9404 girls and 44,974 boys. 2743 students have been successful in IIT Guwahati zone. More students have been successful this time than the last year. In 2024, 2458 candidates from Guwahati zone were successful. Four students from Delhi zone have secured a place in the top-10. IIT Kanpur has also released the final answer key of JEE Advanced 2025 exam on the official website jeeadv.ac.in. This time maximum number of students have passed from Hyderabad zone with 12,946, followed by Delhi with 11,370 and third place is secured by Mumbai zone with 11,226 students.

Kanishka Chakraborty from Assam has become the topper of the Guwahati Zone by securing 161 rank in All India. Gyan Prakash from Patna is the second topper of the zone by securing 471 rank in All India. Gyan is the topper of Bihar. Yashwardhan Kataria (All India Rank 478) has secured third position, Arjun Verma (All India Rank 529) has secured fourth position and Neel Kamal Kumar (All India Rank: 532) has secured fifth position. Soumya Shreyasi (All India Rank: 581) from Guwahati Zone has been the topper among girls.


Girls broke four years' record


If we look at the exam results of the last four years, this year the maximum number of girls passed the JEE Advanced exam. In 2025, 17.29% girls passed the exam, while in 2024, 16.51 percent, in 2023, 17.17 percent and in 2022, 16.01 percent girls had succeeded in JEE Advanced. Among those who passed, 82.71% are boys & 17.29% are girls. Among those who passed, 44,974 are boys & 9404 are girls. This time 13 foreign students also passed the exam.
