Latest Updated On 04/07/2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the date and guidelines of the practical examination along with the supplementary examination 2025. The guidelines have been released on the board's website www.cbse.nic.in. The practical exam will be organize from 10 July to 15 July.

The board has said that those students of class 12 who have got compartment only in the practical examination will have to give only practical examination in the supplementary examination. They will not need to give theoretical examination. On the other hand, those students of class 12 who have got compartment in both theory and practical, will have to appear in both practical and theory examinations in the supplementary examination. At the same time, for the students of class 10, the board has said that if a student has got compartment, who did not participate in the internal assessment, then he will get marks in internal assessment on the basis of theory marks. No separate examination will be conducted for this.

The practical examination for regular applicants will be conducted in the school itself. Simultaneously, the exam for the private applicants will be held at the examination center set for the theoretical exam. The board has said that if there is no arrangement for practical examination at the designated examination center, then the regional office will ensure to make arrangements for it in the schools near the designated examination center.
The external examiner for 12th will be arranged by the regional office of the board. At the same time, arrangement for the internal examiner will be made by the school & the center superintendent. In this, a teacher from the school itself will be in the role of examiner. The board has said that the marks of the center where the practical examination is held will have to be uploaded on the portal on the day of the examination itself.
Care has to be taken in this. The mistake cannot be corrected later.
The board has asked all the regional offices to prepare the list of students appearing in the practical examination center-wise and subject-wise. It is known that the supplementary examination of 10th will be conduct from 15 July to 22 July & that of 12th will be conduct only on one day, 15 July.
