Latest Updated On 04/08/2025: The number of vacancies for the clerk grade examination in BCCL has increased from 260 to 419. This is good news for the Class IV employees applying for the clerk grade examination. The examination will be held on 10 August at IIT ISM Dhanbad from 11 am to 1 pm. The examination will be of 100 marks. BCCL has given responsibility to IIT as an agency for the examination.

The examination to be held on August 10 for the reinstatement of departmental employees in the clerk grade in BCCL will be conducted through OMR sheet. The vacancy for departmental employees was released in 2024 itself. Then applications were sought for 260 posts. Now before the examination, the BCCL management has increased the number to fill all the possible vacant posts of clerk grade. It is known that most of the general laborers (now general assistants) have applied to become clerks. There are also many such applicants who are in the fourth class.
