Latest Updated On 28/10/2025: Additional teachers will be deployed in four thousand single-teacher schools across the state. This will facilitate smooth teaching. In council primary schools, from grades one to five, and in council upper primary schools, from grades six to eight, only one teacher is teaching students. Consequently, proper instruction is not possible. Additional teachers will now be deployed here.

The Basic Education Department has prepared a proposal for this. Soon, after receiving the government's green light, teachers will be deployed in these four thousand single-teacher council schools. A committee headed by the District Magistrate will oversee the deployment. It will assess which schools in the district have surplus teachers and then deploy those teachers to these single-teacher schools to streamline the system.
