It is known that for admission to nursing colleges in the state, an examination is conducted by HNB Medical University, followed by the counseling process. The university fills 100% of seats in government colleges. Whereas private colleges were only filling half of the seats through this process, the government has changed this system this time. Minister Dhan Singh Rawat stated that the decision to conduct central counseling has been taken to make the admission process in nursing colleges completely transparent. He said that the INC has already issued guidelines in this regard and officials have been asked to implement this system.
