Latest Updated On 11/01/2026: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will now use artificial intelligence (AI) to verify the identities of candidates at examination centers during its recruitment exams.

Officials said on Saturday that this move will further strengthen the integrity of the examination process. A note released on the commission's website stated, "The faces of all candidates appearing in UPSC examinations will be authenticated at the examination centers."
